Montego Bay

We said goodbye to some of our wonderful Montego Bay hosts - Haresh, Alfred and Govind - and exchanged some banners. Luckily we'll see some again at the conference

Adam at the White Witch Golf Club dreaming of a return to challenge the White Witch. One of Jamaica's most famous legends is the White Witch of Rose Hall, the beautiful 19th-century mistress of a 4,000-acre sugar plantation who cast wicked spells, cruelly abused her slaves, and killed three successive husbands. (what do think girls???)

It is believed she haunts the Rose Hall Great House, grounds of the estate - now known as White Witch Golf Course. Watching locals tee off, I heard many golfers curse their crooked shots on the evil white witch. This course is at the top tier of Caribbean golf destinations and the finest of tracks.

People at play at Doctor's Cave, Montego Bay. We stopped by but arrived too late for it to be worthwhile for us to pay for a swim and a sunbathe.

Carolyn overcome by the location - White Witch Golf Club with panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea.
