Farewell BVI
A final pic of the BVI hosts able to see us off on the ferry - Vance, Scotty, Audley and Stephanie - Yvonne was taking the photo. It was a special time on Tortola. Thanks to other hosts: John, Orlando and Sam.
Hi everyone Photos are great and it looks like more fun than work. You had better make the most of your last week as I sure work back here won't be as much fun. Way to quiet here in the office without you Carolyn. Safe traveling regards Naydene
The Group Study Exchange (GSE) provides the opportunity for members of different backgrounds to travel to Districts in other countries and experience life as local citizens do.
They study how their vocations and professions are practiced in the host District, learn about the culture, and build lifelong friendships with their counterparts and Rotarian hosts. They also participate in local Rotary Club activities and give presentations on their experiences at local District conferences.
The team consists of four young non-Rotarian business or professional people and a Rotarian leader.
Our Itinerary
Our GSE Team is from District 9640 (Northern NSW and Southern QLD, Australia) and we visited Rotary District 7020 (Northern Caribbean), spending 12 days in Jamaica, 4 days in St Martin/Sint Maarten, 5 days in Tortola (BVI), 6 days in St Thomas (USVI) and 6 days in St Croix (USVI).
